Labour and Solidarity Day on 1 May is a meaningful occasion on which we once again reflect on the value of hard work, production and labour. Throughout human history, labour has been the foundation of development, progress and prosperity. Today, too, the selfless contributions of our workers across every sector—from industry to agriculture and the service sector—are shaping the future of our country.
Workers involved in every stage of production are the bearers of great value through their patience, knowledge and experience. Every individual whose labour contributes to the journey from the field to the table is an indispensable link in the chain. For this reason, we must not forget that labour is not merely an economic value, but also a social one.
1 May is also a symbol of solidarity. It reminds us of the importance of producing together, growing stronger together, and moving towards common goals. The truth that challenges can only be overcome through solidarity continues to guide our sector. Creating fairer, safer and more sustainable working conditions is a shared responsibility for all of us.
On this meaningful day, I extend my respect and gratitude to all workers contributing to our country’s development, particularly our colleagues working in our sector. I celebrate May Day, the Day of Labour and Solidarity, with my heartfelt wishes for everyone who believes in the sanctity of labour, produces, and adds value; I wish you a future filled with health, peace, and success.
Where there is labour, there is a future.
With respect and best regards...
