Imaş Makine, WAM Group and SCA Certification, one of the leading companies in the milling industry, are organising an important panel to draw attention to dust explosions and the measures that can be taken against this danger. The panel titled "Dust Explosions and Protection Practices in Milling" will be hosted by Konya Chamber of Industry on 27 June 2025.
In the panel, critical issues such as the causes of dust explosions that may occur in grain and feed milling processes, protective measures that can be taken against these risks, selection of appropriate equipment and related certification processes will be discussed in detail.
In the panel prepared in the light of long-term studies carried out by İmaş Makine's R&D centre, company experts will share their experiences and researches with the participants. The panel is also considered as an important step towards improving the safety culture and raising awareness in the sector.
Dust explosions stand out as a risk that can cause serious loss of life and property, especially in sectors such as milling where fine dust particles are dense. In this context, the participation of sector representatives in such technical information meetings is of great importance for both the safety of enterprises and the health of employees.
The event is open to the participation of flour and feed milling industry professionals, food production facility managers and representatives of all relevant institutions and organisations across Turkey.
