Professionals from the milling sector came together for the Head Miller Training held at Alapala Akademi Training and Innovation Centre in Çorum between 5-16 May. This event brought together participants from various countries to develop their skills in the field of grain processing technologies through practical experiences.
The training programme provided information on important milling topics such as machinery, maintenance, automation, milling diagrams, hygiene and control analysis. The graduates gained the basic knowledge necessary to develop their milling careers.
Lead trainer Dr. Seçil Uzel emphasised the importance of the programme as follows: "Providing access to fundamental principles and the latest technological developments is at the centre of Alapala Academy's mission. It is incredibly satisfying to see professionals from around the world working collaboratively to deepen their expertise in Corum."
Dr Lokman Gemi added: "The practical experience gained at our operational facility is transformative. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, the Head Miller ensures that our graduates are exceptionally well prepared for the challenges of modern milling management."
